What age does my dog need to be to join your services?

We offer specialist puppy care which is open to puppies from 8 weeks old. For our Daycare, Boarding and walking services we only accept dogs from 10 - 12 months + (depending on breed). Puppies cannot join group walks because they are still developing.

Do you offer dog training?

Although it is something we are very passionate about , we don’t currently offer dog training apart from basic puppy foundation skills as part of our Specialist Puppy Care. We do offer our Geopaw Family members behavioural advice and support and we are always happy to recommend reputable dog trainers that we know.

What is your dog training ethos?

We both are so passionate about using and promoting the latest and most modern dog training methods. We never advocate training using punitive methods which use pain and fear.

What is the Geopaw Family?

Here at Geopaw Premium, we have such a close bond and relationship with all dogs in our care and their owners too. We are not a fan of the word ‘client’ as our dogs and owners mean so much more to us than that. We are always honoured to be a part of a dogs life, watching them grown and develop and to be there for advice and support.

are you first aid trained?

George has certificates in Canine First Aid which were achieved after attending a course with Rhodes 2 Safety.

Although it’s nice to see dogs getting along and playing, this isn’t for every dog and really depends on the individual dog. We cannot guarantee your dog will get on with every dog in our care or vice versa and we don’t force dogs into situations they are not comfortable with. Dogs should already be comfortable around other dogs and have no anxiety or aggression towards dogs or people before joining us.
